This lake is so wonderful. There's tremendous hiking along the Naugatuck Trail, and an interesting thing to go to near Turners Pond is Turners Pond Dam. All through the warm months, highs usually are in the 80's at Turners Pond while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are regularly in the 30's while Turners Pond nighttime low       temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Turners Pond. There's so much to do here at Turners Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Gentile's Camp Ground is a great site for that. Be careful coming to Turners Pond, you might not ever wanna go back home again.
