Skiing at Blandford is one of those things you just must do, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Trout Pond; Link Trail is a brilliant local trail. Trout Pond is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Southwick Acres Campground is a fine place to camp nearby; great hiking is available along the Metacomet Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Simsbury 1820 House is a wonderful site to spend a night or two; there's good hiking

| | along the County Road Trail. So many cool things to do here at Trout Pond, too magnificent to be true. When you're here at Trout Pond it's always fun to stop at Penwood State Park; Golden Acres Campground is a splendid campground nearby. A range like the Barndoor Hills here at Trout Pond is always scenic, and while you're here and you like golf, you can go to Simsbury Farms Golf Course. winter the highs are frequently in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Trout Pond are in the 0's. Yeah, come here to Trout Pond for a tremendous time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little River, and at Trout Pond you can
