If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Shepaug River, and almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Hesseky Meadow Pond is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Cozy Hills Campground, and there's perfect hiking along the Mattatuck Trail. Don't leave Transylvania Pond without first going for a hike along the Naugatuck Trail, naturally you could also pop by Radey Pond

Very pleasant water scenery is available at Transylvania Pond Dam next to Transylvania Pond; camping at Looking Glass Hill Campgrounds is always a nice experience. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are in fact plentiful here at Transylvania Pond. Golf Club. Heritage Hotel is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and Bates Rocks can be spotted from Transylvania Pond. High temperatures at Transylvania Pond through the summertime are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down
to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Transylvania Pond tend to be in the 10's. Hit the slopes at Woodbury in the neighborhood; there are fine places to explore
along the Mattatuck Trail. A glorious location like Kettletown State Park near Transylvania Pond is too good to leave out. A lot of precipitation falls at Transylvania Pond; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most
rain while February is generally the driest month. This is a popular location for folks from Torrington, and after a long day outdoors Crowne Plaza Hotel SOUTHBURY is a perfect site to spend a night or two. You clearly have to
adore Transylvania Pond. Bullet Hill Brook is near Transylvania Pond and is always a delight to take a look at; Bantam River is a nice whitewater spot close by.
