Take a hike on the Wild Cat Trail, and if you've had enough of Tobey Pond, Ghilds Pond is close by. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. A splendid nearby hotel is Quality Inn & Suites, and Lone Oak Camp Sites is a brilliant campground nearby. perhaps hooked on lakes, Bigelow Pond is one of those nearby; on a lovely day you acquire a magnificent sight of Dutton Mountain from Tobey Pond. If you need a place to stay Blackberry River Inn is a pleasant choice; perfect skiing
awaits you at Ski Butternut. The high level of rainfall makes Tobey Pond a relatively wet site; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.
