Skiing at Mohawk Mountain is one of those things you just must do, and stopping by Haystack Mountain State Park is a fine thing to do. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Tobey       Pond has it all. Going for a hike along the Mattatuck Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and a round of golf at nearby Quarry View Golf Course is a good way to kill some time. The warmest time of the year at Tobey Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the nighttime is quite chillier of course, commonly in the 50's.
