What a nice lake Tift Pond is. Tift Pond gets a large amount of water; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. There are some great whitewater spots on Natchaug River, and Cedar Swamp is a swamp in close proximity to Tift Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Best Western Regent Inn is a glorious choice, and at Tift Pond you can distinguish Ball Hill.

| | all you adrenaline rush seekers, and camping at Brialee Campground is always a glorious experience. There's some flowing water nearby, Fishers Brook is a stream you can stop by during your stay. Dry warm beds await you at Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center, and if you came to camp Moosemeadow Camping Resort is a pleasant place to do that.

State Park is a brilliant site to stretch your legs a bit. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Tift Pond. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's with temperatures at Tift Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
