If you came for an overnight stay Brialee Campground is a nice site to camp, and there are other sites here than Tift Pond, for example Swan Lake. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Tift Pond. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Tift Pond are in the 10's. | | to say Fishers Brook flows through this area. Lots of folks from Willimantic come to Tift Pond; camping is available at Moosemeadow Camping Resort.
Yep, outdoors fun things to do are truly abundant here at Tift Pond. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Salmon River, and Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a brilliant spot to get some rest. You get a good vista of Ball Hill from Tift Pond; Natchaug River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby. | |

Lots of rainfall falls at Tift Pond; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Mirror Lake is in close proximity. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Regent Inn; needless to say, everyone loves Mansfield Hollow State Park.
