Trout Pond is around here, and the Barndoor Hills towers over Three Corner Pond. Take a hike       on the Metacomet Trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Farmington River. This lake is so wonderful. Golden Acres Campground is a wonderful local campground; a tour here wouldn’t be complete without a journey to nearby Stratton Brook State Park.
