Thirsty Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Guilford, and why not camp at Hammonasset Beach State Park if you're here at Thirsty Lake. A great deal of rainfall falls at Thirsty Lake; April is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.

Chatfield Hollow State Park is worth checking out if you're at Thirsty Lake, and a golf course nearby is Guilford Lakes Golf Course.

Summertime highs at Thirsty Lake frequently
tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Thirsty Lake temperatures sink to the 10's.
