What a nice lake Thirsty Lake is. Why not have a look at a swamp like Wolf Swamp since you're here at Thirsty Lake, and why not camp at Hammonasset Beach State Park while you're here at Thirsty Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Mattabesset Trail, and Valley Shores Pond North is a good lake nearby. The warmest time of the year at Thirsty Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the

| | 60's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Thirsty Lake. Nothing beats kicking back at Circle Beach; Hungry Hill is easy to spot from Thirsty Lake. The scenery at Guilford Lakes Lower Dam close to Thirsty Lake is scenic, and there are other spots here than Thirsty Lake, for example Witch Hazel Millpond. the rain falls throughout April, and the driest month of the year is February. Guilford Lakes Golf Course is a golf course in the neighborhood of Thirsty Lake, and there's great hiking along the Washington Trail. Dry warm beds await
you at Tower Inn and Suites, and you can go for a hike on the West Woods Trail. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great world it would be. Drift down the rapids of Hammonasset River in a kayak,
and Powder Ridge is a great local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. At Thirsty Lake you always meet someone from New Haven-Milford, and Chatfield Hollow State Park is a glorious spot. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the beach if
you want, Jacobs Public Beach is practically right here, and do go to Iron Stream if you're here at Thirsty Lake. Man, is there loads of enjoyable things to do next to Thirsty Lake. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Guilford is a wonderful choice, and Riverdale Camp Sites is a perfect local campground.

Maltby Lakes are made up of three lakes located off of Route 34 in West Haven. The permit also gives you access to Lake Saltonstall and Lake Chamberlain for fishing.
