Taylor Pond is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Taconic State Park Copake Falls is a glorious spot to camp nearby, and there are plenty of folks from Torrington here at Taylor Pond. Taylor Pond gets a common amount of rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. Golf can be played at Undermountain Golf Course. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Catamount, and Taconic

Going for a hike on the Northrop Trail is always a great adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Great Barrington. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the neighborhood of Taylor Pond. so wonderful. One of the principal highlights of the surroundings of Taylor Pond is Bird Peak; you can hit the slopes at Mohawk Mountain in the vicinity. Take a side journey to Beeslick Brook, and there are delightful sites to
explore along the Elbow Trail. While you're here at Taylor Pond, you could also stop at beautiful Deep Lake; Wononpakook Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out. Beaches are glorious; and Mudge Pond Town Beach close to Taylor Pond
is no exception; after a long day outdoors Sharon Motor Lodge is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Taylor Pond. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend
down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Taylor Pond are in the 10's. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Mt. Washington State Forest is a fine spot to stretch your legs a bit, and Ore Hill Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit.
