Lamentation Mountain is a peak you can see from Swede Pond, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Washington Trail. You truly have to like Swede Pond. A tremendous close by hotel is Days Inn Berlin CT; the Metacomet Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Camp Eagle Feather is a nice spot to do that, and hey, Gotta ski right? Mount Southington is a glorious place to do that. Everybody close by loves skiing at Powder Ridge, and brilliant water scenery is available at Silver Lake Dam near Swede Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Mattabesset Trail will let you absorb
the natural beauty of this region, and there are other places here than Swede Pond, for example Hart Ponds.
This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Farmington River - Collinsville, and of course Belcher Brook flows
through this region. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are really bountiful here at Swede Pond. Playing golf is lots of fun at Pistol Creek Golf Club, and Dossin Park Beach is a stunning beach to explore. Through the summertime
at Swede Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Swede Pond.
