Get yourself into a kayak and hit Still River. Lakes are glorious; Camp Delaware Pond is a lake that's near Sucker Brook Reservoir. A trip to Burr Pond State Park when you're here at Sucker Brook Reservoir is never a bad idea, and the slopes of Ski Sundown are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is so wonderful.

in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Sucker Brook Reservoir sink into the 0's. Having a
wonderful time at Sucker Brook Reservoir is easy. From Sucker Brook Reservoir you get a nice view of Burr Mountain, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to spot at Sucker Brook Dam in close proximity to Sucker Brook Reservoir.
This is a popular place for folks from Torrington; get covered with water paddling on Sandy Brook River. Much precipitation falls at Sucker Brook Reservoir; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and January
meanwhile is the driest month. If you came to camp Laurel Crest Campground is a delightful place to do that, and you can go for a hike on the Tunxis Trail.
