Stump Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Stump Pond is a wet location that gets a large amount of precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Stump Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Webster Koa Family Kampground is a delightful local campground, and Quaddick State Forest is a glorious local forest. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn
Express Hotel & Suites Killingly (Dayville), Ct is a fine spot to spend a night or two, as expected you could also check out Quaddick Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all.
Quaddick State Park is both good and picturesque, and it's right next door to Stump Pond, and there's always Whitmans Pond Dam to check out close to Stump Pond. So many enjoyable things to do at Stump Pond, so little time. Stump Pond is not far at all from Willimantic, and if you

need a place to stay The Inn at Woodstock Hill is a great choice.
One of the dominant marks of the surroundings of Stump Pond is Quaddick Mountain, and do take a hike on the Border Trail. If you came to camp Buck Hill Family Campground is a nice place to do that, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Munyan Trail. Just can't get enough of Stump Pond. Glide down the rapids of Clear and Branch in a kayak, and Blackmore Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at.
This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Quinebaug River; going for a hike along the Walkabout Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Throughout the summer here at Stump Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Stump Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Do pay a visit to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor while you're here at Stump Pond, and if you've had enough of Stump Pond, Little Pond is nearby.
