Stump Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Stump Pond is a wet location that gets a large amount of precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. need a place to stay The Inn at Woodstock Hill is a great choice. One of the dominant marks of the surroundings of Stump Pond is Quaddick Mountain, and do take a hike on the Border Trail. If you came to camp Buck Hill Family Campground
is a nice place to do that, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Munyan Trail. Just can't get enough of Stump Pond. Glide down the rapids of Clear and Branch in a kayak, and Blackmore Brook is one of the streams nearby
that might be worth stopping at. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Quinebaug River; going for a hike along the Walkabout Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Throughout the summer here
at Stump Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Stump Pond dipping down into the 10's
through winter nights. Do pay a visit to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor while you're here at Stump Pond, and if you've had enough of Stump Pond, Little Pond is nearby.
