What a nice lake Stump Pond is. This lake is so wonderful. Quaddick Mountain is stunning and can be observed from Stump Pond, and Buck Hill Family Campground is a great campground nearby. The warmest time of the year at Stump Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Stump Pond tend to be in the 10's. This

If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quinebaug River, and let's not forget Blackmore Brook which is a stream that you may bump into while here. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do right next door to Stump Pond. During your trip to Stump Pond you'll meet some folks from Willimantic for sure, and if you've had enough of Stump Pond, Mavis Pond Number 1 is nearby. If only | |

every location had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great earth it would be. While you're here at Stump Pond you can take a hike along the Border Trail, and a good nearby hotel is The Inn at Woodstock Hill. There is a wonderful
hiking trail close to Stump Pond called the Walkabout Trail; you can stay the night at Webster Koa Family Kampground. You don't must go far from Stump Pond to enjoy Quaddick State Forest, and a trip to Quaddick State Park is a
great idea. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Killingly (Dayville), Ct is a delightful choice, and Whitmans Pond Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. On a nice day at Stump Pond you can
take a hike along the Munyan Trail, unsurprisingly you could also explore Kingsbury Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. Stump Pond is a wet place that gets much rainfall; most of the rain falls all through November, and the
driest month is February. If you haven’t been to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Clear and Branch.
