Everybody loves Seth Low Pierrepont State Park Reserve; Popes Pond Dam is a charming place, beyond doubt worth going to. This lake is so wonderful. Bald Hill is simple to spot from Streets Pond, and Streets Pond is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Mountain Workshop is a nice spot to camp nearby. Mullens Pond is a wonderful lake near Streets Pond; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close       by Thunder Ridge. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Streets Pond. Why not go to nearby Barretts Brook while you're here at Streets Pond. Lakes? Sure, Popes Pond is in close proximity. Drift down the rapids of Norwalk River in a kayak; lots of people from Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk come here. High temperatures at Streets Pond through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's.                  High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and night lows at Streets Pond through the winter frequently sink into the 10's. Dry warm beds await you at Hilton Garden Inn Norwalk, and if you're a golfer then a good close by course is Oak Hills Golf Course. Streets Pond is a quite wet place commonly with a good deal of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here while February is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
