It's always fun to stop by Stone Hill Reservoir. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you came to camp Countryside Campground is a nice spot to do that, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Plainfield, Ct is a wonderful place to get some rest. There's good hiking along the Narragansett Trail, and unsurprisingly, all our national parks are great places to stop by and Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is no exception. | | Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and whitewater paddling is great on Natchaug River. This lake is so wonderful. Reservoir Brook flows through this vicinity, and good hiking is available along the Narragansett Trail. A golf course in close proximity to Stone Hill Reservoir is River Ridge Golf Course; you'll in all probability meet some people from Willimantic here. Hollow Pond, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Plainfield is a great place to spend a night or two. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Stone Hill Reservoir; Border Trail is a good local trail. The warmest time of the
year brings highs in the 80's to Stone Hill Reservoir, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Stone Hill Reservoir.
Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in close proximity to Stone Hill Reservoir. Everybody loves Hopeville Pond State Park, and the vista of wonderful Breakneck Hill is great. This lake is so wonderful. Pachaug State
Forest is a forest right next door to Stone Hill Reservoir that you can go to, and Quinebaug River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. Stone Hill Reservoir commonly gets a good deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls
during November while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to observe at Stone Hill Reservoir Dam next to Stone Hill Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Stone Hill Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Campers World Campground is a brilliant spot for that.
