If you are in New London county it's always a good idea to stop by Stone Hill Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Stone Hill Reservoir Dam is a place that is right next door to Stone Hill Reservoir, and if you come at the right time of year, Quinebaug River offers some great whitewater. | | Hell Hollow Pond right next door to Stone Hill Reservoir is a brilliant place to explore, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Natchaug River.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Do pop by Pachaug Pond next to Stone Hill Reservoir, it's a delightful lake, and don't leave without popping by Hopeville Pond State Park. trail close by. While you're here at Stone Hill Reservoir you can take a hike along the Narragansett Trail, and playing golf is lots of fun at River Ridge Golf Course.
If you came for an overnight stay Countryside Campground is
a brilliant place to camp; if you have time to spare, Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth taking a look at. For the period of the summertime months at Stone Hill Reservoir temperatures
are ordinarily in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Stone Hill Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.

The summit of Breakneck Hill can be spotted from Stone Hill Reservoir, and a forest close by is Pachaug State
Forest. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Stone Hill Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Plainfield, Ct, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Narragansett Trail. Camping is available at Campers World Campground.
