     Staffordville Reservoir Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out, and when you're here it's always fun to go to Bigelow Hollow State Park. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the area in the neighborhood of Staffordville Reservoir has to offer. One of the governing marks of the surroundings of Staffordville Reservoir is Colburn Hill, and swamps are out of the ordinary spots and Cedar Swamp near Staffordville Reservoir is no exception.  
   This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Natchaug River, and dry warm beds await you at Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center. There's so much to do here at Staffordville Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Mineral Springs Family Campground is a perfect spot for that, and swing by Alden Brook it's a nice place to stop by.
Staffordville Reservoir is a wet location that gets a large amount of precipitation; during May this
 
               area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Willington is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and there are other locations here than Staffordville Reservoir, for example New City Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Staffordville Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Roaring Brook Campground.
Get drenched paddling on Quaboag River. Lakes? Sure, Hydeville Pond is in close proximity. Summer at Staffordville Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Staffordville Reservoir.
