     The beauty of Stafford Springs Reservoir Number 2 attracts many people from all around. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. A visit to Bigelow Hollow State Park revives the soul, and the vista of Colburn Hill is wonderful. Quaboag River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Willington is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. Stafford Springs Reservoir Number 2 sees pretty high levels  
   of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Stafford Springs Reservoir Number 2, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Stafford Springs Reservoir Number 2 plunge into the 10's.
