A lovely lake like Cranberry Pond near Springdale Pond is a delightful location to go to; Executive Inn and Suites Old Saybrook is a magnificent place to get some rest. Lieutenant River flows through this area, and Obed Heights Reservoir is a good lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you're looking for a beach right next door to Springdale Pond, we recommend Harveys Beach; why not visit Ayers Point also if you're here. Swamps can be such attention-grabbing

On a delightful day you get a view of Ferry Hill from Springdale Pond, and Obed Heights Reservoir Dam is not far at all from Springdale Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Pond. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Springdale Pond is great! A brilliant location next to Springdale Pond is Calves Island Bar, and get wet paddling on Salmon River. A lot of rainfall falls at Springdale Pond;
November is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you're here at Springdale Pond and you like golf, you can go to Hillside Links Golf Course, and if you came for an
overnight stay Devil's Hopyard State Park is a good site to camp. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Springdale Pond while overnight lows are typically in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and overnight
lows during the winter for Springdale Pond tend to be in the 10's. Glide down the rapids of Hammonasset River in a kayak. All the outdoors fun stuff close to Springdale Pond will keep you coming back persistently. A great nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Old Saybrook, and Gilbralter Rocks is something you shouldn't miss if you're here.

Odetah Campground
 | 19 miles away I am staying at odatah camp ground as I write this thay have wi-fi which is great. This is our first time here and we love it. we will be comming back many more times. We are staying in a nice cabin, but thay have very good camp sites as well. are cabin has a fridge,doubble bed,three twin beds but the (twins are a little narrow). This morning we played horseshoes Yhe seasonal campers were very under standing of are unfamiliarity with the game and had a wonderful time.we then went swimming in the lake. that was great. we then went in the pool and the hottub. hottub was nice and big. we then played shuffleboard and went to a barbeque(exellent ribs)and listen to a very good band. All in one day. can't wait for tomorrow.... |
