Perry Pond is close at hand, and you can go for a hike on the Narragansett Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Not far from Spring Lake you acquire some glorious water scenery at Brandegee Lake Dam, and a trip to Harkness Memorial State Park revitalizes the soul. Spring Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during November this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with       the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Mystic New London Red Roof Inn. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Spring Lake has to offer, you can camp at Camp Niantic By The Atlantic. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Spring Lake. Sanctuary Basin is a nice place to check out; this is a popular spot for folks from Norwich-New London. On a good day it's a great idea                  to spend the day at Green Harbor Beach; Spring Lake is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Laurel-lock Campgrounds is a brilliant place to camp nearby. Golf can be played at Groton Town Shennecossett Golf Course, and Jacobs Rock is scenic and can be made out from here. Hit the beach if you want, Osprey Beach is practically right here, and you're probably interested in lakes, Brandegee Lake is one of those nearby. The warmest time of the year at Spring Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.
