Swamps don’t sound that great but Beaverdam Marsh close to Spencer Pond is relatively great, and a tour here wouldn’t be complete without a tour to nearby Robinson State Park. Congamond Lakes Middle Dike is not far at all from Spencer Pond, and whitewater paddling is great on Little River. All the water falling down from the sky makes Spencer Pond a wet site; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.

| | Camping is available at Golden Acres Campground, and there are other locations here than Spencer Pond, for example Arnold Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Conn Cove is quite next to Spencer Pond, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Ski Sundown. Mountain Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to; Spencer Pond is right by the Link Trail. What a place this is for outdoors folks. if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Farmington River. This lake is so wonderful. Blandford is a perfect local ski area, and why not camp at Sodom Mountain Campground since you're
here at Spencer Pond. Throughout the summer months here at Spencer Pond, high temperatures typically get into the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are generally in the 30's, and after the
sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Spencer Pond fall into the 0's. If the weather is beautiful, you get a magnificent vista of Huckleberry Mountain from Spencer Pond, and if you need a location to stay Dutch
Iris Inn, The is a fine choice. Spencer Pond in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Spend the day on the beach at Babbs Beach since you're here at Spencer Pond. Lakes? Sure, Congamond Lakes is in the vicinity.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're visiting Spencer Pond from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford, you won't be the only one, and a tremendous close by hotel is Elm Motel. Hiking along the Richard Trail is brilliant fun, and an afternoon playing golf at Edgewood Golf Course is always a pleasure.
