After a long day outdoors Roger Sherman Inn (Le) is a good location to spend a night or two, and naturally, this is a fine area for people who like lakes, Sheffield Pond is a lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Mullens Pond, and there's some flowing water nearby, Barretts Brook is a stream you can stop by while you're here. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Spectacle Swamp.
