Swamp tend to be in the 10's. Spectacle Swamp gets a large amount of water; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Pound Ridge Golf Club
is always a joy, and Roger Sherman Inn (Le) is a great site to get some rest. Get drenched paddling on Norwalk River; camping at Mountain Workshop is always a wonderful experience. A beautiful lake like Kents Pond near Spectacle Swamp
is a delightful place to pop by; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Barretts Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Do visit Spectacle Swamp Dam if you're here at Spectacle Swamp, and a tremendous place to camp here at Spectacle
Swamp is Kettletown State Park. Mullens Pond is a nice lake in close proximity to Spectacle Swamp, and get yourself into a kayak and hit East Aspetuck River.
