    Why not stop by Spectacle Swamp if you're passing through these parts. Barretts Brook flows through this area, and almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Hendersons Pond is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Roger Sherman Inn (Le) is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two; the skiing at Thunder Ridge is pleasant. For the period of the long summer days at Spectacle Swamp highs are mostly in the  
   80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Spectacle Swamp throughout the wintertime ordinarily fall into the 10's.
Swamps are out of the ordinary spots and Spectacle Swamp in the neighborhood of Spectacle Swamp is no exception, and camping at Spectacle Swamp is good fun, Kettletown State Park is a good local campground. What a location this is for outdoors
 
               people. Playing golf is lots of fun at Pound Ridge Golf Club; whitewater paddling is delightful on Norwalk River. You can take a little tour to Spectacle Swamp Dam if you're here at Spectacle Swamp; one of the main characteristics of the surroundings of Spectacle Swamp is Bald Hill.
Paddling on East Aspetuck River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. When you're here at Spectacle Swamp it's always fun to take a look at Seth Low Pierrepont State Park Reserve, and Spectacle Swamp is a great place to camp, Clarence Fahnestock State Park is a great place. Ridgefield CT Days Inn is a splendid location to get some rest, and you'll meet a lot of people from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown here.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Spectacle Swamp a wet location; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month.
