    Southington Reservoir Number 1 is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Southington Reservoir Number 1. Head up to Ski Sundown and strap some skis to your feet. There's so much to do here at Southington Reservoir Number 1 that you need to camp here for a while, Black Rock State Park is a good place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Sleeping Giant State Park is a glorious  
   spot to stretch your legs a bit, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop by Hitchcock Lake Dam. A quick journey to Humiston Brook near Southington Reservoir Number 1 is a great idea, and Mount Southington is a very popular ski area in close proximity.
Lakes? Sure, Southington Reservoir Number 3 is in the neighborhood, and paddling on Farmington River - Riverton is so much fun. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more entertaining
 
               stuff to do here at Southington Reservoir Number 1. There are other sites here than Southington Reservoir Number 1, for example Southington Reservoir Number 2, and the Quinnipiac Trail is a brilliant hiking trail nearby. Spend the day on the beach at Dossin Park Beach if you're here at Southington Reservoir Number 1; Holiday Inn WATERBURY is a tremendous place to get some rest.
High temperatures at Southington Reservoir Number 1 during the summertime are in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while Southington Reservoir Number 1 overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Farmington River - Collinsville has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Tunxis Trail. During your journey to Southington Reservoir Number 1 you'll meet some folks from New Haven-Milford for sure. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Southington Reservoir Number 1 has to offer, you can camp at Gentile's Camp Ground.
While you're here at Southington Reservoir Number 1 you can play some golf at Pine Valley Golf Course, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Mattatuck Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The view of Southington Mountain from Southington Reservoir Number 1 is picturesque; after a long day outdoors Residence Inn By Marriott Southington is a glorious place to spend a night or two. Southington Reservoir Number 1 is a wet place that gets lots of rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful.
