Sheraton Stamford Hotel is a magnificent place to get some rest; the nice people of Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown like to hang out close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Roger Sherman Inn (Le) is a splendid choice, and while you're here, you could stop by Mill River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. You'll find a scenic lake called Lockwood Pond near Siscowit Reservoir,       and a spree to Seth Low Pierrepont State Park Reserve is a nice idea. A delightful lake like New Canaan Reservoir near Siscowit Reservoir is a fine location to visit, and Siscowit Reservoir Dam is a pretty spot. There's so much to do here at Siscowit Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain Workshop is a great spot for that, and in the neighborhood of Siscowit Reservoir you hit upon a golf course called Pound Ridge Golf Club. This lake                  is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Norwalk River, and if you came to camp Camp Kiwi is a good place to do that. At Siscowit Reservoir through the summer highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's while Siscowit Reservoir night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Siscowit Reservoir frequently gets a great deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most while January is mostly the driest month.
