Many people like to go to Silver Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MERIDEN, and Silver Lake is right by the Mattabesset Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Silver Lake has to offer, you can camp at Little City Campground, and if the weather is pretty, you obtain a tremendous vista of Chauncey Peak from Silver Lake. the winter are in the 10's. But wait, there's more to do near Silver Lake. A round of golf at nearby Hunter Memorial Golf Course is a good way to kill some time, and wonderful water scenery is available at Silver Lake Dam in the vicinity
of Silver Lake. This lake is so wonderful. People from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford love to come to Silver Lake, and there's whitewater on Roaring Brook River for all you adrenaline people. This lake is so wonderful. Places
like Wadsworth Falls State Park are good to stop by, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Dossin Park Beach. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Farmington River - Collinsville; the Mattabesset
Trail offers hiking at its best. Days Inn Berlin CT is a tremendous location to get some rest, and you can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Mount Southington. Silver Lake gets lots of water; of all the months in a year
May is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Just can't get enough of Silver Lake. Do check out Gills Pond near Silver Lake, it's a pretty lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Washington Trail.
