This lake is so wonderful. Camp Eagle Feather is a magnificent local campground, and the Washington Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Mount Southington is a pleasant local ski area, and the good folks of Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford like       to hang out close by. High temperatures at Silver Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's while Silver Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. If you like the outdoors, you'll adore Silver Lake. Wadsworth Falls State Park is a wonderful spot any time of year, and there's magnificent hiking along the Mattabesset Trail. This lake                  is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Powder Ridge is in the neighborhood of Silver Lake, and Silver Lake is right by the Mattabesset Trail. Get soaked paddling on Roaring Brook River, and do check out Silver Lake Dam while you're here. If you need a site to stay Days Inn Berlin CT is a wonderful choice; at Silver Lake you can catch a glimpse of Chauncey Peak. Quality Inn & Suites is a great location to get some rest. Lakes are great; Swede Pond is a lake that's close to Silver Lake. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Silver Lake, too good to be true. Drift down the rapids of Farmington River - Collinsville in a kayak, and you have to positively check out wonderful Dossin Park Beach if you're here. Silver Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
