take a hike along the County Road Trail, and if you came to camp Golden Acres Campground is a great place to do that. Marriott Hartford Windsor Airport is a great place to get some rest, and there is a great hiking trail close by
called the Link Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Roaring Brook River is so much fun, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford. You imagine that's enough?
Just getting warmed up. Powder Ridge is a great local ski area. Camping at Southwick Acres Campground is always a tremendous experience, and a golf course close by is Wintonbury Hills Golf Course.
Dry warm beds await you at Hilton
Garden Inn Hartford North/ Bradley International Airport; swing by Rainbow Brook it's a magnificent location to check out. Silver Birch Pond gets a lot of water; throughout May this area sees the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture.
