What a nice lake Shenipsit Lake is. Getting to Charters Brook from Shenipsit Lake is uncomplicated, and you're sure to run into some wonderful folks from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford here. There's so much to do here at Shenipsit Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Del-aire Camping Resort is a wonderful spot for that, and get covered with water paddling on Roaring Brook River. A pleasant nearby hotel is Howard Johnson Express Inn Vernon, and Bolton Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. Shenipsit Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Sun Valley Camping Cooperative is a good local campground; a spree to Gay City State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Vernon is a glorious place to spend a night or two; float down the rapids of Salmon River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. On a gorgeous day you obtain a sight of Fox Hill from Shenipsit Lake,
and the scenery at Shenipsit Lake Dam is beautiful. All through the warmest time of the year here at Shenipsit Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. Throughout
the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Shenipsit Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Twin Hills Country Club; since you're here, you could also go to beautiful Bolton Lakes.
