Hit the slopes at Powder Ridge nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Washington Trail. For you golfers we recommend nearby Guilford Lakes Golf Course; there's great hiking along the Mattabesset Trail. If you get bored of Shelley Lakes, you could also go to nearby Dream Lake, and naturally, everyone loves Chatfield Hollow State Park. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Guilford is a nice choice, and the West Woods Trail offers hiking at its best.

near Shelley Lakes, and a swamp like Cedar Swamp near Shelley Lakes has lots of exciting things to see. Shelley Lakes is a wet place that gets a great deal of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is when
it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day you can check out Circle Beach close to Shelley Lakes; dry warm beds await you at Tower Inn and Suites. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Shelley
Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Hammonasset Beach State Park is a good place for that, and Roaring Brook River is a fine whitewater spot nearby. Shelley Lakes is not the only spot close by, Upper Guilford Lake is a close
by lake, and Shelley Lakes is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Riverdale Camp Sites is a fine local campground. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Shelley Lakes. When the night sets in temperatures descend
down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Shelley Lakes. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area right next door to Shelley Lakes
has to offer. The scenery at Guilford Lakes Upper Dam in close proximity to Shelley Lakes is delightful; time spent at Jacobs Public Beach is always perfect.
