Connecticut has many beautiful lakes and Sheffield Pond is one of them. Swamps are interesting locations and Spectacle Swamp close to Sheffield Pond is no exception, and dry warm beds await you at Roger Sherman Inn (Le). This lake is so wonderful. You could also take a look at Browns Reservoir since you're here at Sheffield Pond; it's nearby; Sheffield Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Kettletown State Park is a tremendous local campground.

Aspetuck River is a wonderful whitewater spot close by.
There's some flowing water close by, East Branch Comstock Brook is a stream you can have a look at during your stay; while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close
by Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown. So many amusing things in the vicinity of Sheffield Pond, clearly incredible. Seth Low Pierrepont State Park Reserve is a magnificent location to go if you're at Sheffield Pond; if you've had
enough of Sheffield Pond, Kents Pond is close by. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Thunder Ridge, and Ridgefield CT Days Inn is a magnificent site to get some rest.
Very good water scenery is available
at Spectacle Swamp Dam in the vicinity of Sheffield Pond; you can run the rapids of Norwalk River. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Sheffield Pond.
