A visit to Shadow Lake is always a good idea. Shadow Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month. At Shadow Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's; the night is rather colder of course, regularly in the 60's. Bennett Ponds in the vicinity of Shadow Lake is a great place to explore; swamps like Mill Plain Swamp are fun to go to. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Mountain Workshop; you can run the rapids of Norwalk River.
Danbury Super 8 Motel is a great spot to get some rest; Thunder Ridge has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. At Shadow Lake you can catch a sight of Ned Mountain, and don't forget to take a great little
trip to Miry Brook. Here at Shadow Lake there are plenty of folks from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Ridgefield Golf Course.

outdoors exciting stuff, what a great globe it would be. Wataba Lake is a great lake close to Shadow Lake; when you're here it's always fun to check out Seth Low Pierrepont State Park Reserve.
