If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Naugatuck is a delightful choice, and Mount Southington is a tremendous local ski area. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Seymour Reservoir Number 2. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Mattatuck Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Woodbury is pretty near.
