the Mattabesset Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Hammonasset Beach State Park is always a great experience, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the West Woods Trail. High temperatures at Schumanns
Pond through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's; the overnight is a bit cooler of course, commonly in the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows at Schumanns Pond during the wintertime
commonly fall into the 10's. The Washington Trail is a splendid hiking trail in the neighborhood of Schumanns Pond, and some of the water nearby flows, like Chatfield Hollow Brook. A large amount of precipitation falls at Schumanns
Pond; April is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. If you came to camp Riverdale Camp Sites is a good spot to do that, and hey, Gotta ski right? Powder Ridge is a great spot to do that. During
your stay at Schumanns Pond do have a look at close by Hammonasset Beach. Lakes are great; Horse Pond is a lake that's right next door to Schumanns Pond.
