Go for a hike on the West Woods Trail; Schreeder Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Riverdale Camp Sites is a great local campground. Hammonasset River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there are glorious sites to look at along the Washington Trail. You get a fine view of Buell Hill from Schreeder Pond, and A Victorian Village Inn is a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant place to camp here

There's always Schreeder Pond Dam to stop at in the vicinity of Schreeder Pond, and a quick tour to Pond Meadow Brook is beyond doubt a magnificent idea. glorious nearby course is Guilford Lakes Golf Course, and paddling on Salmon River is so much fun. At Schreeder Pond during the warm months highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings
highs down to the 30's while Schreeder Pond nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. You just must have a thing about Schreeder Pond. A beautiful lake like Foster Pond right next door to Schreeder Pond
is a splendid place to take a look at. Schreeder Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most while February is frequently the driest month.
