Sawmill Pond is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Tetram Pond Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out, and a tour here wouldn’t be complete without a tour to close by Millers Pond State Park. Sawmill Pond gets a large amount of water; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most while February is frequently the driest month. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Palmers

During the summer months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Sawmill Pond. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Sawmill Pond dipping
down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day you obtain a view of Bunker Hill from Sawmill Pond, and Little City Campground is a tremendous local campground. Not far from Sawmill Pond,
you'll stumble on Priess Pond which is a beautiful lake; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Washington Trail. While you're here at Sawmill Pond you can take a hike along the Mattabesset Trail; there's whitewater
on Roaring Brook River for all you adrenaline people. If you need a site to stay Passport Inn and Suites Middletown is a good choice; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Hammonasset River. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Sawmill Pond is peerless!.
