Sawmill Pond is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Tetram Pond Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out, and a tour here wouldn’t be complete without a tour to close by Millers Pond State Park. Sawmill Pond gets a large amount of water; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most while February is frequently the driest month. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Palmers
Pond; you'll possibly meet some people from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford here.
A splendid nearby hotel is Inn At Middletown; on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Mattabesset Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable stuff just keep reading. Powder Ridge is a very popular ski area in the vicinity, and Sawmill Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day, Riverdale Camp Sites is a great place to camp nearby.

This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day you obtain a view of Bunker Hill from Sawmill Pond, and Little City Campground is a tremendous local campground. Not far from Sawmill Pond, you'll stumble on Priess Pond which is a beautiful lake; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Washington Trail. If you need a site to stay Passport Inn and Suites Middletown is a good choice; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Hammonasset River. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Sawmill Pond is peerless!.
