Camping at Del-aire Camping Resort is always a fine experience. This lake is so wonderful. Porter Reservoir Dam is worth going to while you're here; obviously Averys Brook is a striking stream that is worth a visit. Minnechaug Golf Course is a nice golf course nearby, and camping is available at Nelson's Family Campground.

upon Union Pond which is a lovely lake. That right there is a heap already, but it goes on; Salter Pond has it all. You definitely have to check out Gay City State Park if you're here at Salter Pond, and you can never get enough of
the nice skiing at Powder Ridge. Salter Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.

are commonly in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Salter Pond.
