If you are in Hartford county it's always a good idea to stop by Sage Pond. Take a side trip to Belcher Brook; going for a hike on the Mattabesset Trail is always a fine adventure. And that's not all you can do here at Sage Pond. Lamentation Mountain is painless to spot from Sage Pond, and Sage Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Little City Campground is a pleasant local campground. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things

State Park when you're here at Sage Pond is never a bad idea; you can go for a hike on the Washington Trail. Throughout the months of summer at Sage Pond highs are mostly in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are
in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Sage Pond are in the 10's. One of the best things about Sage Pond is its proximity to Dossin Park Beach, and if you don't mind
getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Roaring Brook River. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Pistol Creek Golf Club not far from Sage Pond, and of course, this is a good area for people who like
lakes, Silver Lake is a lake in close proximity. Whitewater paddling is great on Farmington River - Collinsville. If you need a spot to stay Days Inn Berlin CT is a pleasant choice. Lakes are magnificent; Hart Ponds is a lake
that's in the vicinity of Sage Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western New England Inn & Suites, and what would winter be without some skiing at Powder Ridge.
