This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford here at Sadds Mill Pond, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Vernon is a great choice. Camping at Sun Valley Camping Cooperative is always a pleasant experience; Grassmere Country Club is a great golf course close       by. Bradleys Pond is a fine lake next to Sadds Mill Pond; a magnificent close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express HARTFORD-VERNON. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. There are other places here than Sadds Mill Pond, for example Creamery Pond, and don't forget to take a great little spree to Bradleys Brook. At Sadds Mill Pond through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. For the duration                  of the winter the highs are usually in the 30's, and night lows in the 0's for Sadds Mill Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Farmington River, and get covered with water paddling on Roaring Brook River. This lake is so wonderful.
