People from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown       love to come to Saddle Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Doral Arrowwood Conference Resort. That right there is a lot already, but it keeps on going; Saddle Pond has it all. After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn and Suites Armonk is a great location to spend a night or two, and you can hit the slopes at Thunder Ridge in the vicinity. There's always Saddle Pond Dam to have a look at near Saddle Pond. There's so much to do here at Saddle Pond that you                  need to camp here for a while, Camp Kiwi is a splendid location for that. This lake is so wonderful. The Appalachian National Scenic Trail offers hiking at its best. High temperatures at Saddle Pond all through the summertime are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Saddle Pond drop into the 10's.
