Burr Pond State Park, and Days Inn - Torrington is a pleasant spot to get some rest. Hiking along the Wild Cat Trail is tremendous fun, and lakes are such calm places, why not stop at Winchester Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping
is available at Laurel Crest Campground, and why not head up to Ski Sundown and strap some skis to your feet. Having a fine time at Rugg Brook Reservoir is trouble-free. You're sure to run into some fine people from Torrington
here; a day on the slopes of Otis Ridge is just what you need. Babb Hill can be made out from Rugg Brook Reservoir, and Highland Lake is a great lake nearby.
