     You're sure to run into some smiling folks from Torrington here. Lakes? Sure, Gaylord Pond is nearby. Days Inn - Torrington is a tremendous location to get some rest; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Mattatuck Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Austin Hawes Campground is a great local campground, and Algonquin State Forest is a forest that you can go to. So many exciting things in close proximity to Rowley Pond, truly extraordinary. What would  
   winter be without some skiing at Otis Ridge, and get covered with water paddling on Sandy Brook River.
This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Still River in a kayak, and a fine nearby hotel is Quality Inn & Suites. While you're here at Rowley Pond you can take a hike along the County Road Trail, and there are other spots here than Rowley Pond, for example Highland Lake. Rowley Pond is a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; August is the wettest
 
               month with most rain, and the driest of the months is January.
Gotta ski! Ski Sundown is a glorious location to do that, and do check out Gaylord Pond Dam if you're here. Summer at Rowley Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Rowley Pond are in the 0's. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Rowley Pond. On a great day at Rowley Pond you can take a hike along the Richard Trail, and some nearby water includes Colebrook Brook.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay White Pines Campground is a glorious location to camp; unsurprisingly, everyone loves Burr Pond State Park. Swamps can be such attention-grabbing sites, explore Indian Meadow if you're here at Rowley Pond, and here at Rowley Pond you can catch a sight of Panorama Hill.
