Don't leave Roe Pond without first going for a hike along the Naugatuck Trail, and Roe Pond is close to Collis P. Huntington State Park which is a beautiful location. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are truly abundant here at Roe Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Shepaug River, and a round of golf at nearby Sunset Hill Golf Club is a good way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Camp Brook is a stream that you may encounter during your stay,

| | and you can stay the night at Lake Waramaug State Park. There's perfect hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. So many exciting things in the neighborhood of Roe Pond, clearly incredible. A short journey to Roxbury Falls is always worthwhile, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Woodbury. highs all through the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Roe Pond dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. There are great sites to explore along the Mattatuck Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Stony Hill
Inn. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Mohawk Mountain are so inviting noone can resist; if you've had enough of Roe Pond, Lake Lillinonah is close by. An average amount of rainfall falls at Roe Pond; most of the rain falls
during June, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Get wet paddling on East Aspetuck River, and Roe Pond is a place with many visitors from Torrington. Lake Hayward Dam is not far at all from Roe Pond, naturally you could
also stop at Lake Hayward while you're here; it's not far at all. Heritage Hotel is a tremendous location to get some rest, and Buck's Rock Camp is a great campground nearby.
