    It's always fun to stop by Riverside Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Through the summer months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Riverside Pond. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Riverside Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. An out of the ordinary thing to stop by in the neighborhood of Riverside Pond is Riverside Pond Dam, and get yourself into a kayak  
   and hit Natchaug River.
Places like Bigelow Hollow State Park are great to have a look at; obviously, this is a good vicinity for people who like lakes, Hydeville Pond is a lake in the neighborhood. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Riverside Pond. Camping is available at Mineral Springs Family Campground, and get soaked paddling on Quaboag River. Swamps like Cedar Swamp are fun to pop by; why not camp at Roaring
 
               Brook Campground while you're here at Riverside Pond.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Glenville Pond; if you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Willington is a perfect choice. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop at close by Alden Brook if you're here at Riverside Pond; Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a good place to get some rest. Riverside Pond is a relatively wet place usually with a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most; February meanwhile is the driest month.
