A lake nearby is Reservoir Number 4; if you're here you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Reservoir Number 3 is a good location of normal rain; the month with most of the rain is June while January is commonly the driest month. Visit Cross Brook while you're here at Reservoir Number 3, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Mohawk Mountain. Having a great time at Reservoir Number 3 is uncomplicated. | | Number 3 you can take a hike along the Mattatuck Trail, and Lake Waramaug State Park is a pleasant place to go. You can run the rapids of East Aspetuck River close to Reservoir Number 3, and some nice nature is available in Chestnut Lands. You'll meet a lot of people from Torrington here, and Lake Waramaug State Park is a magnificent campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Camp is a great local campground. A nice vista of striking Aspetuck Hill is available from Reservoir Number 3, and after a long day outdoors Heritage Inn is a glorious location to spend a night or two. So much exciting stuff
near Reservoir Number 3, just tremendous. Homestead Inn is a good place to get some rest, and a golf course nearby is Candlewood Valley Country Club. Throughout the months of summer here at Reservoir Number 3, high temperatures
regularly reach the 80's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Reservoir Number 3 are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
You could also stop by Reservoir Number 2 since you're here at Reservoir Number 3; it's close by, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Woodbury since you're here.
