Reservoir Number 1 sees pretty high levels of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. An attention-grabbing thing to visit close to Reservoir Number 1 is Carrington Pond Dam; there are wonderful locations to look at along the Regicides Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Reservoir Number 1 that you need to camp here for a while, National Computer Camps is a magnificent place for that. Don't leave Reservoir Number 1 without first checking out High Rock, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Bantam River. Woodbury is a nice local ski area, and going for a hike on the Naugatuck Trail is always a pleasant adventure. All the outdoors cool stuff close to Reservoir Number 1 will keep you coming back persistently.
