A fine close by hotel is Best Western Regent Inn; there are plenty of folks from Willimantic here. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Reeds Pond. The summit of Pumpkin Hill can be seen from Reeds Pond; obviously, this is a perfect region for people who like lakes, Halls Pond is a lake close at hand. Why not camp at Charlie Brown Campground while you're here at Reeds Pond; after a long day outdoors Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a

| | great spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. You don't should go far from Reeds Pond to enjoy James L Goodwin State Forest; you're probably keen on lakes, Halls Pond is one of those close by. All our national parks are splendid places to have a look at, and Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is no exception. River, and why not take a little visit to Beaverdam Brook since you're here. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Reeds Pond. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's,
and nighttime lows during the winter for Reeds Pond tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Nickerson Park Camp Grounds is a great local campground; Mansfield Hollow State Park is a good spot to stretch your legs a
bit. Natchaug River is a brilliant whitewater spot right next door to Reeds Pond; Halls Pond South Dike is a scenic place, undeniably worth stopping at. Much rain falls at Reeds Pond; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
