Connecticut has many beautiful lakes and Reeds Pond is one of them. Robinson State Park is a picturesque location any time of year, and tremendous hiking is available along the Metacomet Trail. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Airways Golf Course & Country Club is always a diversion, and a picturesque lake like Connecticut River Reservoir is a delightful place to check out. | | and the night is quite cooler of course, usually in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Reeds Pond.
This is a popular place for people from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Reeds Pond; Link Trail is a pleasant local trail. This lake is so wonderful. spot nearby. Camping at Golden Acres Campground is always a fine experience, and why not take a refreshing hike along the County Road Trail.
Any time is a glorious time at Reeds Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. Dry
warm beds await you at Doubletree Hotel Bradley International Airport; you'll discover a striking lake called Barber Pond. Why not stop by Schwartz Pond Dam if you're here, and if you came to camp Sodom Mountain Campground is a delightful
place to do that. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Reeds Pond. If you need a place to stay Bradley Hotel is a glorious choice.
Adds Brook is near Reeds Pond and is always a delight to check out, and in case you
don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Roaring Brook River. The high level of rainfall makes Reeds Pond a pretty wet place; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most; January is the month with the least moisture.
