     You can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Mohawk Mountain, and do stop at Transylvania Pond Dam if you're here. Near Radey Pond you locate the Naugatuck Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and hey, Good Hill Brook is a perfect local stream. A good nearby hotel is Heritage Hotel; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Hesseky Meadow Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes Radey Pond a wet place;  
   the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Radey Pond has to offer, you can camp at Cozy Hills Campground; the fine people of Torrington like to hang out close by. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Radey Pond. Crowne Plaza Hotel SOUTHBURY is a glorious place to get some rest, and there is
 
               a great hiking trail nearby called the Mattatuck Trail. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Shepaug River, and locations like Kettletown State Park are nice to go to.
Summer at Radey Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is fairly cooler of course, generally in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Radey Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Radey Pond, you'll locate Transylvania Pond which is a gorgeous lake, and Radey Pond is a perfect spot to visit for more than one day, Looking Glass Hill Campgrounds is a perfect spot to camp nearby. Going for a hike on the Mattatuck Trail is always a fine adventure.
You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Woodbury while you're here, and a round of golf at nearby Pomperaug Golf Club is a delightful way to kill some time. You definitely ought to adore Radey Pond. Bantam River is a wonderful whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Radey Pond, and Bates Rocks is trouble-free to spot from Radey Pond.
