The beauty of Quist Pond is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Woodbury in close proximity; you can run the rapids of Bantam River. There are wonderful places to explore along the Mattatuck Trail, and The Pinnacle is a brilliant location to go to while in the vicinity. Going for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is always a perfect adventure, and there's whitewater on Shepaug River for all you thrill seekers.

| | Throughout the summer months here at Quist Pond, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows throughout the winter for Quist Pond tend to be in the 10's. here at Quist Pond. Bantam River is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting; at Quist Pond you can see Baldwin Hill. An average amount of precipitation falls at Quist Pond; of all the months in a year June is
the one with the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. A magnificent spot near Quist Pond is Pinnacle Valley, and a lake close by is Lake Waramaug. Playing golf is lots of fun at Stonybrook Golf Course; there's
no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mohawk Mountain. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in close proximity to Quist Pond. Quist Pond is not the only spot nearby, Shepaug Reservoir is a nearby lake, and
why not take a look at Quist Pond Dam if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. A swamp like Meeker Swamp near Quist Pond has lots of exciting things to see. This lake is so wonderful. Quist Pond is tremendous enough to spend more
than a day at, Looking Glass Hill Campgrounds is a tremendous local campground; after a long day outdoors Homestead Inn is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. If you came to camp Lake Waramaug State Park is a tremendous place to do that; sites like Mt. Tom State Park are nice to visit.
