    Quaddick Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Killingly (Dayville), Ct is a good location to spend a night or two, and Quaddick State Forest is a forest that you can go to. From Quaddick Reservoir you acquire a glorious vista of Elmwood Hill; going for a hike along the Munyan Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Don't forget to take a glorious  
   little tour to Blackmore Brook, and you're perhaps hooked on lakes, Bowdish Reservoir is one of those nearby.
Through the warm months at Quaddick Reservoir temperatures are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Quaddick Reservoir through the wintertime usually drop into the 10's. Stay the night at Bowdish Lake Camping Area, and a wonderful spot for whitewater
 
               paddling is Quinebaug River. Clear and Branch is a good whitewater spot next to Quaddick Reservoir.
A trip to Quaddick State Park when you're here at Quaddick Reservoir is a nice idea, and if you've had enough of Quaddick Reservoir, Stump Pond is close by. This lake is so wonderful. The great folks of Willimantic like to hang out nearby; have a look at nearby Thompson Meadows. Just can't get enough of Quaddick Reservoir. Buck Hill Family Campground is a delightful campground nearby; hiking along the Border Trail is tremendous fun.
So many fun things to do at Quaddick Reservoir, so little time. Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is one of the destinations close to Quaddick Reservoir that are great to go to; if you need a spot to stay The Inn at Woodstock Hill is a wonderful choice. All the water falling down from the sky makes Quaddick Reservoir a wet place; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. If the weather is brilliant here at Quaddick Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Walkabout Trail; there's always Quaddick Reservoir Dam to pop by close to Quaddick Reservoir.
