    In Connecticut there are many beautiful lakes, Quaddick Reservoir is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Quaddick State Park revitalizes the soul, and Quaddick Reservoir is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Bowdish Lake Camping Area is a brilliant local campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Quaddick Reservoir; Border Trail is a pleasant local trail. There's so much to do here at Quaddick Reservoir that you need to camp here  
   for a while, Buck Hill Family Campground is a nice site for that. Quaddick Reservoir usually gets much rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest.
You get a wonderful panorama of Elmwood Hill from Quaddick Reservoir, and needless to say, all our national parks are great sites to stop by and Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is no exception. At Quaddick Reservoir throughout the
 
               summer months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Quaddick Reservoir. If you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Killingly (Dayville), Ct is a brilliant choice, and Quaddick Reservoir Dam is a place that is next to Quaddick Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at King's Inn, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Munyan Trail. Quaddick Reservoir truly is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Quinebaug River is a good whitewater spot near Quaddick Reservoir, and Quaddick Reservoir is right by the Walkabout Trail. Quaddick Reservoir is not the only location nearby, Cady Pond is a nearby lake; there's a forest here called Quaddick State Forest.
What a site this is for outdoors folks. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear and Branch, and why not a little side journey to Blackmore Brook. People from Willimantic love to come to Quaddick Reservoir; Thompson Meadows is an out of the ordinary swamp near Quaddick Reservoir.
