So many cool things to do here at Priess Pond, too great to be true. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Mattabesset Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Horseshoe Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Millers       Pond State Park is a good location to explore, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Mattabesset Trail. Little City Campground is a wonderful campground nearby; what would winter be without some skiing at Powder Ridge. Float down the rapids of Roaring Brook River in a kayak; if you're here you can take a hike along the Washington Trail. Priess Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; all through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest                  month of the year is February.
