This morning we played horseshoes Yhe seasonal campers were very under standing of are unfamiliarity with the game and had a wonderful time.we then went swimming in the lake. that was great. we then went in the pool and the hottub. hottub was nice and big. we then played shuffleboard and went to a barbeque(exellent ribs)and listen to a very good band. All in one day. can't wait for tomorrow....

THe fishermen aren't nice here, especially in the Fly fishing area, we caught a lot of heck from them last year. MAde the trip no fun, I won't return. Try the Farmington instead....it's just bigger withmore room for everyone....You may wish to add the following link from the Salmon River page:http://www.ctxguide.com/ctxguide_117.htm...

I took my two sons here for a week this summer and it was awesome!! We went in the middle of the summer and the weather was pretty good.? We had a couple good rainstorms at night but it always cleared up for the day.? My kids loved swimming in the pool and the river.? The river was so warm and if you went out to the big rocks the water was rough and felt like a hot tub!!? My sons (7 and 4&1/2)had a blast riding their scooters all over the campgrounds with the other kids.? They spent most of their time trying to catch frogs and tadpoles and playing at the playground.? We went to the ceramic shop and painted a keepsake for home.? We will definately be going back next year.? My kids want to go for two weeks this time but we will see....
