Through the summer here at Plymouth Reservoir, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's while nighttime lows are       generally in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; night lows at Plymouth Reservoir through the winter usually fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. There's tremendous hiking along the Tunxis Trail, and if you need a location to stay Courtyard Waterbury Downtown is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Minor Pond is a great lake in the vicinity of Plymouth Reservoir, and here at Plymouth Reservoir you can catch a sight of Holt                  Hill. The skiing at Ski Sundown is wonderful, and if you came to camp Gentile's Camp Ground is a good location to do that. Everybody close by loves skiing at Mount Southington, and dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn and Suites/Wolcott. The high level of precipitation makes Plymouth Reservoir a relatively wet site; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is typically the driest month. Plymouth Reservoir is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Black Rock State Park is a perfect local campground, and if you're dropping by from Torrington, you won't be the only one. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the area near Plymouth Reservoir has to offer. A scenic lake like Masterbone Pond in the neighborhood of Plymouth Reservoir is a glorious place to visit, and drift down the rapids of Farmington River - Collinsville in a kayak. Plymouth Reservoir truly is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise.
