An out of the ordinary thing to have a look at near Plymouth Lake is Lake Plymouth Dam, and Holiday Inn Express WATERBURY is a good place to get some rest. Whitewater paddling is great on Farmington River - Collinsville. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Ski Sundown is right next door to Plymouth Lake; if you're a golfer then a brilliant nearby course is Pequabuck Golf Club of Bristol. Through the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Plymouth Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Plymouth Lake.
