Going for a hike on the Mattatuck Trail is always a great adventure; there are plenty of people from New Haven-Milford here at Plymouth Lake. An out of the ordinary thing to have a look at near Plymouth Lake is Lake Plymouth Dam, and Holiday Inn Express WATERBURY is a good place to get some rest. Downtown is a great choice, and on a pretty day you acquire a great sight of Birch Hill from Plymouth Lake. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Ski Sundown is right next door to Plymouth Lake; if you're a golfer then a brilliant nearby
course is Pequabuck Golf Club of Bristol. Through the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Plymouth Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently
in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Plymouth Lake. Plymouth Lake is a pretty wet place generally with lots of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is the month with the least moisture.
